The MC-780MA S is the version with remote display.

The MC-780MA P is the version with column.

It's not possible to change the remote display version to column mounted version.

The cables of the hand grips of the remote display version are shorter than those of the column mounted version and it will not fit properly when a column is mounted on the remote display version.
